Eagerpig Newsletter – September 2008

Just a short and sweet newsletter this month so straight in to it!

Victorian Institute of Motocross
Most of the riders finished up their big events this month with the seniors finishing the OZ MX Nationals at Coolum and the Victorian State Titles at Barrabool. Some of the junior riders are still in training for the upcoming Australian Motocross Titles to be held at Wanneroo in WA while the remaining riders are competing at their regional events and the new Dirt Bike Masters which start on September 7th. Applications for the 2009 VIM are out and we have had some good applicants so far, looking like another awesome group next season. If you haven’t sent yours in yet applications close on Friday September 19th.

Barrabool Junior Squad
Still plenty of racing happening at Barrabool so the training is on temporary hold while maintenance and events are held. It has been paying off for the riders with heaps of improvement in skills and confidence at the recent session so keep it up.

Coaching Schools
The Rosebud school scheduled for September 17th has been cancelled due to reasons out of our control, real shame as I was looking forward to another session in the sand before Wanneroo for the junior riders so we will be concentrating on the private sessions this month in order to get everyone ready.

Racing
Have been up to Coolum for the final OZ MX round and Barrabool for the final Victorian MX round, now just coaching on the weekends before heading to Perth for the Australian Titles, best of luck to everyone and I will see some of you there.
